Hell everybody, i did this yesterday in class, about 3hours i think, with pencils. (format was A3)

I am pretty happy with it since it is the first one i did since a long time (i used to have some drawing classes (3hours per week) 4 years ago, and i stopped my art activities because i went to mathematics classes for 3 years (equivalent of algebra for you i think) But i got really bored with it and i wanted to draw again (i was doing 3D modeling in my free time) so i am now doing a full time art school specialized in computer arts)

well, sorry for the rambling, here is the picture :

Thanxs
In fact i spent more time on this dark one and on the teapot, for the others i was running low on time and i had to draw them quicker in order to finish the picture in time.
o i think the texture and aspect of the left pots is less good than the right ones, but the values are still ok.

I think the problem with this picture lies more in the drawing then the rendering. It doesn't seem to tight and it looks like they're leaning. My teacher told us to use a center line to get the balance correct. Another thing is the white background takes away from the foreground, possibly make that a mid grey to add to the contrast.

Above, you are right about the background, i will add it after the teacher gave back the things to us, and for the composition, i did draw what i was seeing from where i was in the room i know the subject isnt really exciting and in fact these thigns were leaning on each other (if this is what you wanted to say), it was really compact except for the teapot.

Hey Mime!

This is good. I like that big black can the most but I think that the can on the right side is very cool rendered too.

My opinion is that you have some little problems to draw some reflections to the other two cans. But just a bit. Nothing big. Personally I know that it's quite hard to do good renderings on pencil if there are lots of light sources and reflections. I think that they look a little strange because of those disordered lines and moves of pencil.

Hmm.. I could also say that you can get this much interesting if you would draw some background. It gives contrast for it.

Keep posting. I really like of traditional work as well as digital. Thanks.

thanxs yourmum
yes i like the right cans, and for the left one i wish i had more time (or its me who is too slow maybe ) because i didnt "polished" them as much as i would have wanted to. And you are right, the light was very messy (in a classroom with lots of neons and windows ...) and for the background i didnt had time neither ...
I thik i will try to fix things a little as soon as the teacher give the things back to us, and i will rework the background, now i see that i didnt work on the "table" the cans are on, i just did the outlines and the shadow of the teapot.
and i really need to arrange the frontest round pot, its the messiest one i think and it is the first we see ... bad

thanxs for the comments everybody
