I know some of you more experienced painters out there have a whole bunch of drawing books. Are there any of you that have some that you don't need? I want to buy some.

A good anatomy book is worth its weight in gold to a lot of painters... it would be more likely that they will send you the cash in order to buy your own, rather than part with theirs

My fave at the moment is "Anatomy for the artist" by Jeno Barcsay. It might be a bit mind blowing if it's your first book, but it's got some stunning studies of bone and muscle structure and how it effects the overall appearence of the body.

I too recently got my hands on 'Anatomy for the Artist' and recommend it. Years ago I was recommended Grays Anatomy book. It is OK but a book for Medical Students, not artists.

beekay - its because the same questions get asked over and over and over again. check out the faq (linked at the top of the page) or do a search of the forum. the fact that the same question is posted 2 days in a row is a pretty good example of the problem.
