Those who enjoy studying anatomy in their artwork might be interested in this.

There's an exhibition in London, called the Bodyworlds Exhibition. It's closing at the end of September, so you need to see it soon...

It's a collection of bodies donated to science. They've had their fluids replaced by plastics, and are posed in various stages of dissection. A man sits in front of a chess table, pondering his move, with his skull opened up exposing his brain and nerve connections. A woman reclines on a couch, with a section taken out of her belly showing her unborn infant. That sort of thing.

This exhibition is absolutely incredible. It is definately an education, rather than some sideshow spectacle. Some bits are absolutely breathtaking: My favorite is a man on horseback, with the horse rearing up on its hind legs. The horse is huge - the main thing I noticed were its lungs, which looked to be the size of the mans entire torso.

It's not as 'gooey' as you might think. The models are all very dry - they seem more like the plastic models that get passed around in biology, only incredibly detailed. Kids of about 8-10 were going round.
The only area which is slightly disturbing is the foetus section, which is rather creepy. You can easily skip it however: it's away from the rest of the exhibit.

If you can get to London in the next few weeks, I cannot recommend this enough.
Go check it out, get under the skin of the people you're drawing
