Well it's a very ambitious beginning!

a few concerns:

the shoulders seem a bit too round, perhaps study the collarbone and shoulderblade a little more--a very hard part to draw!

The face needs a bit of rounding and defining--just look at models in magazines and in ads--you'll get it! The lips just seem kinda pasted on, maybe it's because they are too red?

overall, this is a great beginning--now the really hard part starts, trying to get all the parts to work together! Keep us posted!

Wow.. fast replies

I actually got lost in PS for the last hour and did this rework..

Still far from finished, but I am on the way.
(I think)
Fixed some anatomy problems.
Thank you, Irullan..
Still can`t figure out a pose for the hand in the foreground. ah shucks...

Ok.. well its not a bad start but its not the best either.

The anatomy could use some more work. Its mostly right, but, unfortunately thats not really good enough for a picture like this if you want it to be 100% realistic -- if not then anatomy is ok.

The head seems a bit too large overall.

Technique should be secondary to the finished work but I think you may be cocentrating too much on the details. Try to simply this figure down into 2 or 3 shades. Its not easy.

Also you've tried to define the lips using a local color of red. It is better to define them using primarily light and shade.

This picture will be hard to finish as it is now. Possible, but hard.

I suggest studying Sorayama's work. It seems that you might like his.

Hi there!

Woke up and decided to do one more rework
and then call it quits with this picture.
(Else I`ll be doing this all year 2001)
I know there`s issues with the lighting at
the legs, as well as with the hands.
here`s the rework:

here is the magazine cover I used as a reference:

"Used as a reference"..well this was like 5 or 6 years ago 8-P
here comes the original sketch then:

ok...
still, please critique and give me input...I might decide I do want to take this further..
ack!

Maybe try to reduce the gap between your highlights, shadows and the "base" color. Take a look at her chest for example, where her neck connects to her body. It looks like you put the base color then a spot of white next to a spot of brown. Try to soften it more, and maybe reduce the white part, she looks like she's wet and shiny. Good luck !
