since you obviously didn't post it here to stroke your ego or anything... a few suggestions:
- the antialiasing on some of the curves is a little harsh. the jaggedies hurt the overall... i don't know if you can do anything about this tho.
- the icon for info is ambiguous. i know what you are doing and what you are saying, but if you are going for mostly straight up...
- in the interface area where it is dimmed... i think it would look nice if you upped the saturation a little
- the pole-y things on the left were duplicated. and it shows. just a little pixel-pushing and that isn't an issue
- feedback icon is a little off center... and not in the good way
- the font for the navigation is a little wide per height

if you don't want to do any of this, fine. you still have something killer going...

true, but the pixels are the issue here. there are only so many of them i can work with. the framings for the content area are jagged on purpose. the rest is just as it is.

and if you even knew jack shit about me, you'd know i have no ego, just aggressivity. fool.

the things on the left (i assume i know what you're referring to) won't stay like that. i will most likely partially cover them with stuff. also, you didn't even point it out, which is funny, but the whole interconnectivity issue. right now it's just a bunch of stuff on top of each other. it is a matter i will work out. it needs to look like it's one instead of three. plus the feedback icon actually isn't off from the center. :P

Very good from an artistic stand point, great texture, nice tastefull color.

From a design stanpoint - speaking of it as a logo (my backround is in design, 4yr course and a few years working in advertising and corporate crap)

Silhouette/shape is good - very disctinctive - memorable

GFX font is too hard to read. It should not go so deeply inside the gears and not be shadowed. The G is very hard to make out, especialy with the mechanical font choice. No style choice is worth making the logo hard to read. A designer must first of all communicate and only secondly express our art.

I would also remove the objects in the waist of the x and the left of the f. They distort and mask the shape of the letters. You dont really want to bastardize the letterforms - find a decorative element that works with the shapes, not against them.

The distorion on the bolts is too much. People are right, make it look good, not look real.

You have to lift the navigation stuff off the background - perhaps another color for the icons?

Good work though - it could be a great logo with some small tweaks....

GFX font is too hard to read - so what? it's not supposed to be read.. i couldn't care any less about design in this case. it's a drawing, not a design. mr design professional guru should most likely have already noticed that........
