Finally I have a picture to post in the Gallery/finished work
Im not gonna work on this any more due to time restraints.
Everything in this pic is %100 hand drawn. there was no photo references it all came outta my head.. the only thing I did was browse through a few pictures of sand so that I could get an idea of how to do it.
so tell me what you think?? does it suck? is it cool?
oh yeah here is the full size version for you detail lovers. http://noel.nrjdesign.com/sijun/skintone_fin.jpg

I like the hair, and the signature in the sand.

Dreaming of that face again.
It's bright and blue and shimmering.
Grinning wide
And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes. |

For me I think that the chin could use some more definition to it and also the shadow under the chin needs to be a touch darker. But apart from that I like this, the depressions in her skin where her ribs are is a good touch.
Nice work. |

This might be lame, but I like the fact that you put sand on the towel. |

IMO it's great, but the sand on the towel looks a little weird. I would do the sand on the towel more dense the more it reaches the beach and maybe have some of the towel buried in the sand.
I guess that's just me though :P |

Axl: thanx. I had to play with that area a little bit. I kinda forgot my anatomy.
Dthind: I tried.. :/
KrassOtti: thanx for the kind words. I was trying for that effect but I guess it didnt get down right.. ah wel next time maybe.. (if I ever do a sandy beach towel again.)
