Umm... this is a battle chaser piece I did. I didn't use any reference, just did it out of my head of what I could remember...

Perhaps even a little smiley wouldn't have gone astray. People can't hear you on forums so they don't know what tone you were intending(if any at all).

Though it was correct Jucas, well all depending on where you are(art wise). If it means alot to be able to produce acurate proportions then yes, using a reference would help greatly. If like me you just drew and drew untill it started to look closer to the real thing, then sweet, go hard.

I mean, these sort of pics are hard to crit.

To myself and others theres obvious issue's....and I believe you can see them too.

I think this is what people are moaning about when it comes to newbies works, or the works of the younger members.
The mistakes are so blantant that surely the artist himself can see whats wrong....surely you have all the reference material in the world for help(and comparison).

Lukiaz, err, I think that's supposed to be the girl character.

Jucas, extreme foreshortening is a very difficult artistic challenge, even for the most experienced of artists. Try building up the forms as cylinders and blocks or even as a stick figure, paying attention to the perspective as much as possible. It looks like you went into the specifics of the hands before you properly worked out the proportions.

Thanks for some feedback... I was thinking Super deformed, and I do see the foreshorting problem... But it is to late to go back and fix that now.

Lukiaz- I can see what your saying. Some people know battle chasers a certain way and when they see it a different way... I know how to draw acurate proportions (I was going for a SD look), I am not a newbie to art and/or this forum.. Thanks for the comments.

Pat- Yep. You hit the nail on the head. I see the foreshorting problem, and I can't correct it in this picture. I was not going for a "normal battle chaser look" but more of a SD look, but I agree and thanks.

If you could draw proportions correctly you would have solved the foreshortening and exageration differently i believe.
Figure drawing will help dealing with problems like this.
Besides the foreshortening problem i think the lines don't follow the shapes good enough wich for example causes the hair to melt into the rest of her body. Let the line follow the whole area. After all it's a line drawing is'nt it? Don't break it up. It hurts the eye.
Use referance It's a very good thing. Use it even if you feel you don't need it. The result can only get better.
