Wow! really cool mecha designs you people have.
Im gonna start to color mine now, I saw Minority Report earlier today. Maybe I will pick up some inspiration from that movie. Very cool movie.
keep up the good work

i got 3 of the same image.. but different way of expression :p
i was just tinkering with some ideas that relate to the work... (actually its all a load of B.S but hey... :>)
, lightened and through the view of 'another pilot'/gunner/etc.
'widescreen' borders... somehow i think this makes it look more compact, and 'bled' from the frame, which i like! Its not in 3:4 ratio though... |

animation 'movie' feel :> this was kept aside, hence the number on the file.. cause i wanted to get ur input on the widescreen or 'video-filter' format :> |

I was about to say before I saw that image to do it exactly like that, gives it a crap load of style _________________ ICQ# 30904507 |

randis: hehe, i bet everyone spotted that from my spider tanks :p
and holy crap your stuff is godly... psst: i -love- your alien masturbation pic > lucky im not in the industry... -_-
i respect mr. masamune, but i love Maschinen Krieger/Ring of Red type.. i found out one day that shirows work and in fact even MAKK arent highly original, all brought and recycled over certain design concepts from loong time ago...
well i like gritty 'realistic' look.. so.. im trying my best :>
Paavo: i like the 2nd orangey orga-mech alot! he looks plastic but got that stylised look :> ur art is great
http://ukitakumuki.netfirms.com/1d/MODAS1.jpg
:> its a little over 100kb..so.. anyway they are pen sketches with some colours added in PS... some concept designs for something im working on ;p
hope u like the ideas, theyre all taken from real-life/modern ordinance systems. nothing high-fantasy here...
xie le! |

Hey, its nice to see that my old Mecha Thread is still alive.
I like yours Paavo, especially the second one in your last post.
UkiTakuMuki I like your platform, I hope we get to see more of your Mecha action too.
Heres a digital sketch I made along with the replys.
