This was my first digital painting, not so much speed as playing with colour
and big cushy shapes, deliberately loose and 'phat' all over the show. My
reference was a printed copy of the original image, and drawing with the
mouse it took me around 2 hours.
After all the 'paint' was splattered over the 'canvas', I added some glory
stars and a few samples from the original: the shoulder plate ports. HEAPS
of fun!:) I can see why so many people draw in this style!
(edit: it's at 50% size! Where's all the detail gone aye..)

Yes Mr. Mullins...chest pains of excitement or shear terror? I am curious to know how you feel about Painter vs Photoshop. _________________ - Tom Carter

Okay I got a long way to go to beocming good at this. But I'm 16 so I've got a while - hopefully long enough.
Some from direct observation, some half half, some no observation.
Sorry about my extra long post. |
