P-Rik, Francis, Wasssup...and all you other guys! Great!

Had a freeze up, "saved" it with my mobilephone. I kinda like the meta-ness of it, hehe.

wassup... you are great. Could you tell me how you choose the values for different materials? don't you use a formula somewhat combined with knowledge. It's just that your values are so good. yea I have so much to learn.

Thanks folks, really appreciated your words.

p-rick >> Nice figure, juicy...

pablo >> Checked your website, what a collection! I'm in awe now.

sparth >> Thanks mate! Good to hear that, guess your having bit more family life now? At least the weather is better eh? Loving that archi thingy!

m@ >> Thanks a lot. Your work has always been inspiring, too. I'm amazed everytime looking at your creature/characters, can't quite remember i've ever seen such things, they are truely inspiring.

crazy >> Your fast man! Nice style you got there!

pringle >> I'm thinking about working in Beijing now, if your coming again we can play that a bit. I used to be good at releasing some fancy combos hehe.

dhabih >> hehe i think this is the third or fourth time i actually see you posting in the sp thread...welcome back!

chris >> Surprised this is a question coming from you, cos i always notice that your values are spot on. Hm, do i have a certain formula...yes or no. I bet you have heard enough of the cliche of analyzing different values of plates with different angles towards light source. I've seen them selling matte plastic cubes in different grey tones in like 8 or 10 levels. Quite ineresting to see how they affect eachother when you put them under a spot light. Yeah you definitely need some knowlege of lighting, form and stuff, that sort of trains your eyes. In time, i slowly don't really think much when i paint, mostly it went pretty straight forward. We all have a few rules, but i think it's quite dangerous to overvalue them in a creative process. I actually play more with contrast than just to get values right, that i can make sure the pic reads well(quite often failed) No worries, we all have much to learn.

Heh, nuff typing...another floating ship, yeah i know those leaves are a bit cheesy, oh well
