nice to see full activity in this thread.
I find it interesting when there are some songs that one cannot grow tired of, very interesting. Perhaps a part in the brain which accepts some tunes better or something.
I haven't grow tired of this song, just as good now as always.

Started to listen to these recently:
Radical Face - wrapped in piano strings |
Really like that one - and it reminds me of a song I heard a very long time ago (on the radio) and never heard again, though it completely stuck in my head. The intro mentioned only "movie music" and "big canoe" - turns out it's Tim Finn, Big Canoe (title track from the album of the same name). Unfortunately it's not on YouTube [sigh]. Will have to check the stores. |

Never listened to Bjork before. My first response was strong dislike (so I said nothing). To me, strong dislike means I should listen to *more* of a particular artist/band/whatever...
Joga really turned the tide - now I 'get it'. Cool.

durgldeep, yea Radical Face is one of those awesome bands to stumble upon, have you heard "City and Colour"? <--- (Canadian) similar to "Radical Face", btw the singer in city and colour is the guitarist in Alexisonfire, however Alexisonfire are screamo lol.
Deepforest was awesome, goes into favourites. I liked Kate bush too, her singing reminds me of "Clannad" you heard clannad?
Clannad - closer to your heart

Imogen Heap is my all time favourite, found her stuff some years ago and have been a fan for years now. She used to sing in a band called frou frou. I can recommend "Imogen Heap" for you guys, I have been posting her before in this thread under some other nickname....

Hey, my brain must be mush - can put these all in one post...
Nide, re Dead Can Dance, really like the second one. And Thomas Dolby... since we're doing 80's, I'd trade him for Rickie:
Rickie Lee Jones - Chuck E's in Love

Can't go wrong with Pink Floyd.

While we're at it:

Just saw Batman Forever, haven't seen it since it came out 15 years ago lol. The end credits had this awesome song with U2 which I remember I liked a lot of even back then, still pretty good song.
U2 - thrill me....
