I like some pretentious in my vocals. It's almost a requirement.

nice to see full activity in this thread. Smile

I find it interesting when there are some songs that one cannot grow tired of, very interesting. Perhaps a part in the brain which accepts some tunes better or something.
I haven't grow tired of this song, just as good now as always.

Royksopp:

Wow, that is some control. She could sing that Diva song from The Fifth Element without cut-and-paste trickery.

durgl, wow I agree with Sumaleth, Sumi jo really got control, those high pitches makes it almost sound like an instrument. Smile btw durgldeep, royksopp, I can recommend you look up their new album. Smile

Sumaleth, Björk is awesome, you have heard "yoga" right? My favourite from her.

Really like that one - and it reminds me of a song I heard a very long time ago (on the radio) and never heard again, though it completely stuck in my head. The intro mentioned only "movie music" and "big canoe" - turns out it's Tim Finn, Big Canoe (title track from the album of the same name). Unfortunately it's not on YouTube [sigh]. Will have to check the stores. Smile

Never listened to Bjork before. My first response was strong dislike (so I said nothing). To me, strong dislike means I should listen to *more* of a particular artist/band/whatever...

Joga really turned the tide - now I 'get it'. Cool. Smile

durgldeep, yea Radical Face is one of those awesome bands to stumble upon, have you heard "City and Colour"? <--- (Canadian) similar to "Radical Face", btw the singer in city and colour is the guitarist in Alexisonfire, however Alexisonfire are screamo lol.
