Well i just found out that Washington State Governor Gary Locke has approved a permit for construction of the 660-megawatt Sumas Energy 2 (SE2), Inc. fossil-fueled power plant. Whats the big deal you ask? well it's supposed to be built right near the boarder to B.C. Canada. not to far from where i live either. this will add 2.5 tonnes of air polution here every day! now that's just fucking retarded. I do not understand why this needs to be built. besides arn't there better and more efficient ways of generating energy? Geothermal comes to mind.
i just hope that SE2 doesn't happen, but it did just take a step closer to happening today though.

That sucks, very inconsiderate. Kind of like throwing your garbage on your neighbors lawn. Or throwing you little brother in the mud. Or lighting up a cigar in the non smoking section.
Hope gas masks are cheap in Canada... =/
