Just a fun, quick pic. It's actually a shot from the upcoming animation. I don't know if the buildings should be more intricate or not.. for those of you who saw the previous animation with these guys, you know how tiny they are. The buildings are a toy scene.

Oh, yeah, another thing. There's a beta game out where you shoot those orange guys in the kitchen. Feel free to critique that too if you wish. http://www.synj.net/files/shooter.zip
(yes, i know the blood is blue in 16bit. I said it was a beta! )
Requirements: Windows 95 or higher, Dx3 or higher.

Hi Synj,

I would love to see some of the very brief mouse only sketches animated. I am not up on 2-d animation software, but it sounds like a lot of work no matter which way you go.

Or maybe some elements could be animated 2d and mapped? might give that weird mix of 2 and 3-d you are so good at capturing

Don't mind me, like I said, you know what you are doing and I am too analytical to be of any use.

it looks as if you have a glow map slapped on the windows of those buildings, which, to me, suggests they are actually buildings with lights on inside and such, making them look a little less toyish... maybe it's just me

anyway i love everything i have seen of you work, and this looks like it will be a really fun animation!

keep it up

maybe make like a brick wall for the background for it to look like its on the porch or something, or the kitchen floor? (maybe an open door at the background.. something that would give you the perspective of the size)

Impressive as always Synj. What's your projected release date for this next animation. I just can't get enough of that smiling killer Koy!

Thanks for the input, guys.

Spooge: I just might do that!

fat: no glow mapped, just luminosity. It could easily be a rich kid's set

shadow: The camera will reveal that this city is not a city when it is shown next to the TV, its just kind of a throw off beginning if you get what i'm saying.

ronin: May 1st, 45 seconds, but don't quote me on that.

Hahaha, Synj... I just saw some of your animations... The one where Koy shoots the Orangeyfats is AWESOME. You need more like that. Nice job.

Hey Synj!
After I dl'ed that game off you from powwow I just couldn't stop laughing. The orangeyfats are funny as hell in themselves...but once I started pumping shells into their behinds....I just couldn't stop.(really overexaggerated..but fun as hell none the less)
