It's looking good. Something you may want to work on however; the horse needs to be defined a little more. For instance, his right leg looks like it's sticking straight out his chest. A little more shading and maybe lengthening the top half of it would improve your image.
That's awesome armour though, keep it up.

1. His left arm is in a terribly unnatural position. Try putting yourself in that position right now. I'll wait.... Hurts doesn't it? If he were really throwing a spear, or whatever, his shoulders would be turned more. The viewer should be able to see more of his back. Picture a pitcher pitching, and you should be able to see what I mean. And if your from some godforsaken country where they don't have baseball, try throwing something. And if you don't have any arms, well, then you're just plain screwed aren't you?
2. The thumb on the left hand should be in front of the first two or three fingers (being the index, middle, and ring in that order) depending on the thickness of the object being held.
3. The horse's front legs are a) too high b) too short and c) not well defined. They seems to melt into each other.
4. The lighting on the armor is inconsistent and does not match the lighting on the horse.

The shading, lighting coloring, is astronomically good, hell it's great.. but the drawing itself is misproportionate, the horse's head is a tad small the neck way too long,. the legs are itty bitty.. the knight is twisted funny, will there be a javolin<sp> in his hand?
there are a few images on this site that might help you with that
this is a friends site i made for him in 95'

Hey guys, thanks alot for all your help..well I've made some changes such as the neck being too long..shorted that, made the head a bit bigger..fixed his finger sticking out like that. and made the legs longer, as for the knights position, I actually like it, I think it will come together when I add the spear..if not I can always go back and tweak it a little. Thanks again for the comments. |

I think it looks AMAZING. The only thing I think would make it look better is to make the leg a little shinier.
The armor and the horse's mane look GREAT. |
