I really suck at drawing/painting hair and was wondering if you guys could share your wisdom with me, like what techniques you use or if you know of any tutorials on the subject.

kapowee - Well, the search option here will surely give you alot of results if you search for "hair" or "hair tutorial" or whatever, like Optical said here. You should really abstain from posting new topics. Or, if you want help, a BETTER way of getting it would be to show us what you can do with hair, and we'll be able to help you and comment your current technique and how to make it better. I mean, comeon, you hope for people to disrupt their schedule to fit in some time on guiding you through your hair drawing process, when you haven't showed them any sign that you are serious about this issue. You might as well be some 14 year old kid who wants to know how to draw cuz it makes you look cool, and lateron you'll realize that smoking pot makes you ever cooler, so why bother wanting to draw? Please use your rationnal thinking for a second or two. We've all used altavista, humm? Same thing should be done here.

Optical - Those two quotes really suck. How do you listen to that? You live in the gutter or something? You carry around guns or else you get popped by the oposite nigga crew? I mean, come on, if you think they're singing about reality, well your reality doesn't compare to mine. So who's right?

Ok let me clarify
I have used yahoo, excite,etc- search numerous times and found some useful tips and techniques. all that I really wanted after just discovering this forum was to see some of your guys techniques simply for the fact that there is lots of cool digital art around here. And to be totally honest I didnt even see the little search button up top guess I must have missed it. I guess ill have to try it.

Optical - It doesn't mean that if people in Detroit carry guns all the time, that EVERYONE ON THE WORLD carries guns. Detroit ain't the only city on this whole planet. If you only see Detroit, then the gangster reality you know and hear about in gangsta rap songs is true. But if you look elsewhere, then them guns dissapear. I don't chill with people who carry dirty guns around and I don't have a criminal record. So if 2pac didn't want to get shot, then why'd he choose to compete with other people with guns? I mean, in a gangsta world, people with guns have power. But in the artist realm, like this one, havin' a gun ain't change nothin' man, if you suck at art, you suck unless you prove that you don't, by drawing somethiing good to show, not showing a gun. Ain't no gun gonna change that, man.
