Well, Chapel asked for some art - here's my Freehand Homework I just finished.
Not the big shot, but I hope to throw in some eyecandy the next days....
the character is taken from an earlier pic I did www.lightning-gfx.de/gallery/stuff/spacefamily.gif

that is really cool, i never really had the chance to mess around with freehand.. when i was taking my course in it we had to do exactly what they wanted us to do so it sucks.. i hope i can get the program tho, it seems fun...

thanks for the nice words
shardik -
you probably had the wrong teacher. In our Freehandclass we have very often illustration tasks.
Ampa -
yeah, I saw very freaky works done wih vectors. I'm looking forward to some works of you....ah, I already saw one here yesterday if I remember right?

yes, you're right - I worked on her with different computers (in school/work/@home)- the tone never mtched a skintone :/
"snowy"
get Illustrator or Freehand - espescially for doing outlines and a good helping hand in combination with Flash

Ampa, I like useing Illustrator. If you ever saw any of my NIMH pics, they all started out as vector art. Here is a rough step by step of how I did my Mrs.Brisby pic.
Step #1 and #2 are done in Illustrator. Then I goto Photoshop. http://www.nimh.20m.com/da/da.htm
