well, I've probably already established myself as a gaming geek on this forum already, but that has little importance...what matters is...

BLACK AND WHITE!

you know? That god game from Lionhead studios and designed by Peter Molyneux in which you controll a virtual world of disciples and a large "titan" creature pet, that you can punish and teach to eat people and throw rocks and watch them roll down hills and cast spells and uproot trees and throw people in the ocean..and *gasp*

look at this!

this game will be out very soon, it went gold last week or something....all this waiting...not in vain! yay!

is anyone else as obsessive/compulsive about this game as I?!

yeah, the game can do nothing but surprise and amaze me, seeing as how i've already made my mind on it and regard it as the biggest joke since the first Unreal tech demo from 96..

/me is awaiting RTCW, Doom3, Metal of Honor, Max Payne.

Must go get Serious Sam sometime. yeah yeah, its just like Doom...thats the beauty of it.

I dunno... none of the kabillion press releases or screenshots has impressed me. And it's probably like Populous with a virtual pet. Could be a good game but I'm not buying it until I hear from people who've actually played it and not just a bunch of boring hype. I mean the game looks more like a niche game, and you let that sort of product grow by itself, not shove it down everyone's throat.

and seriously, games have been going gold before they ever came out lately, like Tribes 2, Summoner, and Black & White.... reviews and screenshots of 733t gr4f1x are more important than kickass gameplay and a good story nowadays.... *sigh*

Tribes 2, Black and White, Neverwinter Nights, Anacronox... those are my current "must buy" list... oh and I think I'll go pick up serious sam... I mean it's $15 at best buy

I have a couple fruit cake friends that have lost their mind for this game. Went as far as pre-ordering and all that.

I'm planning to buy the game but I'm proud to say I've kept peter in his pants so far.

How about the game Halo huh?

Serious Sam looks entertaining too...the demo was hilarious....

have you played the demo Binke? It ran sorta shitty on my AMD 500 WITH GFORCE 2!!!

other than that, it was mildly entertaining...

anyone have black & white yet? it was supposed to be out on the 28th here in north america, but none of the stores in my town have it. it really sucks cause some places on the east coast of canada got the game a day early from what i heard. no one at the stores here know when its coming. went to EB yesterday. they said it should be in today. now they say it will be there tomorrow. i dont even dare download the warez version. they have good protection on it.. oh well

I got it sitting in my car right now. Went and picked it up during lunch from Best Buy. I just got an Athlon 1gig PC earlier this week, so I finally get to test it out a little.

installed black and white last night.

this is the most amazing game on the planet.

there's nothing like it at all.

it takes the best of all worlds and dumps it in your lap. and you'll never understand until you play it.

the game play is where the magic is.

Am I the only one having problems running, well, seeing the graphics without HUGE glitches and texture corruption? This is the worse game I have ever came across as far as BUGs...

And FAKK2... well, that one works... but... (fighting the nausea....)

its funny because this game spent so long getting tested and all the bugs out. it could also be hardware problems

MANY MANY MANY bugs in B&W!! You just find them out with time, for example creature dieing after fight even though he has won, and is healthy. Or wood disappearing on building constructions if you put over whats required, then the wood pile goes to 0 and when construction complete, it goes back to normal. Many other bugs... but i dont blame them *very* much because the game is HUGE in all aspects, so a lot of room for bugs.
