hello and good morning
i am planning on getting my first tablet this week. i'm getting an intuos2 4*5. im not at all familiar with a tablet and i was wondering if there is any huge disadvantages on getting the smaller size.
please forgive me if this question is been asked before. just to say that i did check the forum for any similar posts.

The 6x8 is the best tablet size to get. The 4x5 is a small area. Though so use it if you are getting and Intuos you might as well get the 6x8 it is the most popular size of wacom tablets. |

Agreed, a 6x8 (A5) is the perfect size to use. Not too big and not too small and fits on my desk nicely  |

I agree with these guys, get teh 6x8. I recently bought the 9x12 and its a bit too big. |

I wish I had gotten a 9x12 rather than 8x6. My wacom seems to not work as well with my resolution of 1600x1200 as it could. Since the area of the wacom maps itself to your screen resolution the bigger the better. |
