Well, this is like my first time at recreating in photoshop
(scanned and added colours and shades with the mouse)

I would be happy with some tips or critiques

This was a quickie to try out stuff on, as you can see my shading isint the greatest
the anatomy isint right either.

Good effort. The pictures looks really rough overall and the method of shading is not too consistent. It looks like either airbrush or burn dodge but its too rough. Also could use some more highlights.

Oh! Thanks for the post! *happy*

I used the dodge/burn tools with different highlights/midtones..
I got a quite huge problem learning how to do it

But what do you mean? That i should use bigger brushed when i am shading the little bastard?

Well thanks for the post man!

Nice to see someone else likes to do punk rock pictures. :P I'll have to finish up my zombie punker chick one of these days, so I can show everyone.

One thing that bothers me is how fat the mohawk is up at the top. No mohawk in the world looks like that. They actually tend to start out fat at the bottom, and taper toward flat at the top. I don't know if you actually care.

Here are some "reference" pics, just in case. Unfortunately, they're mostly from the side, so I dunno what you can tell from them.
