Okay this is me trying to use a low opacity brush. how do I fix it make this technique work better?

hmmm.. kinda looks more like the sky and a really weird shape of clouds in front... :\

You need to learn where light and shadows go. First, I'd suggest you block in solid colors then use the opacity on the brushes to help you lighten things and brighten them easier. |
