nice lines, good controll over the thickness, one weird thing when the neck goes into the shirt that line is kind of confusing,
you should allso try and mess with the pose a bit moreit seems kind of stiff, you can draw a straight line through most of his body, and people in motion usually do not have a straight line of gravity that way
allso the hands and body line paralel to sides of the paper, makes the image allso a bit static
cant take credit for that knowlege, most of it came from loomis http://www.geocities.com/lemenayd/l1.JPG http://www.geocities.com/lemenayd/l2.JPG http://www.geocities.com/lemenayd/l3.JPG

Funny that you mention it - That chest line has been on my mind as well.
Ill double chack it :-)
The stiffness though is what im going for.
Well Im kind of stiff myself and thats why.
Thanks for input.

The style... the grace ... the hairy arms. The style and line work are really well done, nice line weight and the character is so interesting cause it doesn't seem like your typical dancer. I think some sort of crazy background could work well. Rather than being in a dance room with mirrors on the wall etc, put him in a random place - like a steel works where everyone else are big chunky blokey kinda guys, or some other situation that is really contrasting. |
