Did this earlier in the week during a dull session at college. Friend sitting across from me playing Quake 3, and I didn't feel like texturing models, so I painted him.

It's probably as finished as it'll get. Took about 10-15 mins, roughly roughly. He liked, so I'm happy. @:-)

Hey there! First off, I think it's good that you're using hard brushes. This teaches you to choose your colors carefully. You still need some work with choosing them, however, but that will come with practise! His proportions look good, his eyes are just grey areas(eye whites are a light shade of the skin value), and his lips are cherry red. Try to pick a good light source and really think about the form, getting the colors nice. Keep it up! |
