Hey all,
Sorry to post such an amature(sp?) drawing but I was wondering if it is possible to color this on computer and make it look realistic......well sort of anyways I know you wont be able to certain extent cause it is anime.
I was just looking for some input if I know it is possible then I will try and do it.....ah hell not making sense I know so I will just post the damn drawing.....

Ya dude...
Put your lineart into a seperate channel.
Then make sure that channel and the cmyk/rgb channels are shown also.
Then add a new layer, and put in your basic colors, by using polygon lasso tool to select areas of image that will be a certain color. Keep the lasso within the lineart.
Make a copy of that layer and lock the original. Or just add a new channel with your color flats. Then make a new layer. Use the layer you copied to select color flats, and on your new layer, use screen/multiply to lighten and darken image.
You made a copy of your flat color layer incase you forget to switch to you shading layer, its not fun when you funk up your flat color layer on accident. PS 6.0 will automatically unlock a layer if you select it. |
