I am searching for a very detailed low poly modeling guide for max.
Anybody that knows a good link?
Mainly for character modeling. |

Low-poly or not, it's polymodeling. Most tutorials on the web are really bad.
Play around with the EditMesh modifier. When you have a rough model you can use MeshSmooth to get more polys and then keep going with EditMesh. If you have R3 of newer you also have a lot of right-click options like turning edges etc.
When I first started out I used to check the 3DCafe (www.3dcafe.com) tutorials.
I have no idea if they are still there though. |
