I have been on these forums for some time now as I've had some problems with my isp.
Anyway, here are a couple of works in progress.
This first piece is my interpretation of Void, one of the elements used in ninjitsu.
Earth, Wind, Fire, Water and Void.
And the second piece is an update of the very first digital piece I posted on the forums. C+C are welcomed.

God that face looks repelling! I really cannot put my finger on excatly what it is that makes me wanna reach out and... well do something to that face... . If this emotional respons from a new viewer was your ultimate goal with the drawing then you have succeeded BIG time! (btw talking about the woman on top!)

Might have something do to with the fact, that she has perhaps the thickest neck I have ever seen carrying a female head! Or the fact that those lips make me wanna crawl under a rock and keep VERY quiet untill she's finished doing her VOID thing!

Besides... very nice rendering! Love the color scheme, especially the red area/light/ shadows around her right foot works REALLY well!

The other drawing... my first thought was... well just try for a minute to put yourself in that position man! I for one, could not in ANY way carry my own weight and the weight of a full armoured war dress like that by resting my upper body on the leg allready supporting the full bodyweight! I am positive you would rest your arm and upper torso on the knee that has been liftet upwards, thereby relieving the other leg a bit from the heavy weight!

Other then that... you got that metal rendering figured out pretty well I can see!!

Nice job!

Great colour scheme on the void piece, I love the detail in the knights armour, nice job on your line work with both. Try to work
with the colours in your knight piece more, you have used very strong bright primary colour (pure: green, yellow, red) rarely do you see colour like that in life. The anatomy on both pieces can be a bit wierd in places- the neck/ shoulder in the void work looks strange, the knight is balancing oddly, if he was pushing down with his sword and leg to keep balance his torso would be leaning tward his sword side, you have it the opposite and it looks like he's about to fall over. hope this helps out.

Has anyone else noticed the rainbow spiraling out of the second picture?

It goes sort of like this:

I really like that. Yeah, it's unconventional coloring --- but it's also very interesting.
