For a mouse job that's pretty good. I guess you are aware of the minor issues, like the bottom of the lamp not being perfect, or the lack of detail on the rear parts of the cable hose.

Thats good for 2 hours but you'll get better results if you spend more time (try 8 to 50 hours).

hi
IN5/\NE-D/\VE- I guess we are both newbies to digital then, I want to see your stuff, since we both havent done much

Bugscratch...Thanks..yes I already got shit for the ellipses on the lamp from a Friend of mine who recruits. And I faded out the hose selectively, overall focus and rendering isnt as exciting to me. Thankyou for the reply

Light- You actually spend 50 hours on something!!!! If I did that it would be way too realistic!!!! Overkill ya know?? I like to keep it so people know it was done digital... I like to leave the "brushstrokes" So that it looks manmade.
8 hours is more like it, I could definitely refine the drawing, and the space, and make things more precise and not as messy, Thanks Like
I am new, so I want more mileage, I will definitely try a longer piece when I feel like my skills are up to that, I've done a couple already for work. So I know what it is too paint on it for extended time.

Thanks all

Art

This is my first digital "painting", blah blah blah. I had to use a crappy ol mouse, but oh well. It took about 2 hours. Let me know what you think. I was concentrating more on the media, so I know there are slight drawing issues...plus I hate mice (computer mouses). So any comment on coloring or application would be much appreciated...anything else too I hope it looks ok on your screen, I am using a friends computer that is not set up for graphics.

Thanks
Art

Oh, It's from life...the right side of the 'puter I am on.
