What is a Sumerian glyph? Its reasuring that we think alike; prehaps ancient symbols like this are embedded in all our minds...
Can you help: When Ive shown this to people they suggest the texture has stretched. It has a little but this is becuse I used meshsmooth to increase the polygon count. How can you do high poly stuff with single textures better? Using UVW unwrap is a nightmare on more than about 800 polygons...

prety funky. if you use patches, and probably surface tools, you unwrap the patches not the polies |
