Finer as in Anders Finer?
Welcome, man! Nice to see you here We've been waiting for you.
The painting looks very nice indeed especially the area by the hips, great highlights, shadows, materials..
How big is the original?
Again, great to see you here.

Lovely piece.
I just checked your site. Thats some fine work, you have a very classic style.
Would I be right by saying you've been an artist for quite some time?. |

Welcome to the board. You have some great pieces of work on your website. I liked the 3D animations, even though I'm not 3D fanatic myself. I looking forward seeing more of your art in this forum.
And the material (bronze? ..I'm not a sculptor) looks realistic in your statue painting, I can't give any critique about the technique. Yet I'm happy you've added some mysterious yellow light to the background, which makes it less boring to look at. A discus thrower without his arm is not too ordinary idea either |

Very nice Finer. Welcome!
This is a very nice piece, and I agree with Micke on the things said. I think there's a bit of a specular problem/irregularity between his hip and torso... where is torso almost seems more matte/flat.
Great work! Looking forward to seeing more! |

Thank you people!
This is the first oil painting I have painted "live" without using a photo, it was good practice.
