wo0o.. haven't posted anything since the college semester ended back in mid-may... doh... So, here's a self portrait of.. uh.. me... done from a little mirror sitting on top of my big ol monitor.
Comments and critiques are of course welcome.

this deserves a response, it's pretty damn good, though I'm not sure of the perspective on the chin (it may just be me though), I also think that while the skin may be shaded and colored well, the next step will be for you to try to show skin texture deviation and any scars/hair/etc. that will add age and realism. very good one, definitley above average, keep it up!

I agree with Vesuvius in that the chin is slightly "off". I also agree with Vesuvius in that this is a very nice portrait.

My only suggestion would be to use some harder strokes. Me a little more aggressive with your brush work, it sort of looks a little smudgey right now. The colours are great, and the values are well chosen - I just want to see some harder edges.
