Hey S4Sb- you have nice lighting so you are in good shape. You just need more color....I do alot of monochromatic work, but you break up colors....The top one..the background is loose and a nice blending of green and blue, the man is just a light brown, his clothes are only blue. Maybe get the quality of the background in your coloring..??? And cross over colors more...put a little of that blue in the skins shadows...and a slight bit of that light brownin the pants light... I think also what bugs me is that you shade in black...then you color over it...that adds "balck" too all of your shadows...which isn't too great for color...unless that is a style you are going for. Maybe take out some lines and color the shadows in using a cooler darker color, or use your local hue's complement. This will create much more lively and interesting color...like your first BG. Your lighting is great though, I just like to pick, otherwise you learn nothin. Just my opinion. take care, good work.

u2art: Thank you for your advise. I agree with what you say. That linedrawing has to be cleaned up a lot more. I don't want to go for style or something similar now. I try to learn. So it's very kind that you share your critique with me. That's why I posted. I didn't want an ego-boost. But I didn't get all of what you were trying to say. What do you mean with:

? Please elaborate.

Ragnarok: Thanks a lot

Hurricane: Thanks. Hope to see more of your work here soon.

Thanks for your time, all.
