Anyway the thing about the explanation stands
About your picture, the angle is great, i like it a lot.
It looks pretty good so far, perhaps you could give it a little more contrast by going darker in the dark spots and lighter...
you get the ideea
I'd really like to see the final piece witn all the details. |

Try to use hard brushes. They will allow you to get sparp image :-] |

It needs a lot more contrast. You've got almost all midtones in there, which is making the image seem muddy/blurry.
The perspective on the rock base doesn't seem to match the perspective on the castle walls and towers at all, however. Right not the whole castle looks as if it's leaning off the cliff.
I think this could be an interesting piece if you re-evaluate your perspective and push those lights & darks a lot more.
