Check out this!! Yesterday i had some pretty nice view of that storm you might have heard about. Sometimes the lightning was so bright, it lit everything up bright as day:
some captures using digi cam in video mode
15 sec exposure
nice lense flare *and i did NOT use Photoshop filter on that!*

Wow.
I've been watching CNN all day and have seen the horrible twisters and such that Maryland/etc.. have been bombarded with in recent days. To anyone living in any of the states that were demolished by this horrible weather, I hope you're okay... :/
Awesome pics, Shizo. |

Holy crap. I tried to capture lightning with a digital camera, but I keep missing it by a fraction of a second. Good job! |

tre cool pics Shiz @:-)
Anyone ever been in a continous lighting storm? I've been fortunate enough to see two, but they're just so awesome. The sky's continually lit with only the occasional flicker to take you into darkness. And the constant low roar... *grinz*
And a few months ago, I was at my parents place up near Caloundra Queensland with a huge storm, absolutely deafening thunder, and I heard lighting for the first time. It struck that close to the house. Wheeeeee! |
