Got this today. I don't know what is worse. Them thinking someone is going to fall for this, or the fact that someone actually would fall for this.

Anybody that falls for this and sends the info deserves to have their money taken if you ask me.

Thats why I keep a spam account for signing up to stuff, along with the occasional "non-porfit" credit counseling and international drivers licessenses, nothing hilarious really builds up.

There was one creditable scam, where those people took the names from a whois search on a bunch of domains and mailed renewal letters out, still you'd have to be an idiot...

or the virus report that tells you to delete neccesary files, it would have potential if the people could at least spell and they sent the emails to AOLers.

Please follow the procedure outlined below as some PCs have suffered due to a virus.

The virus is called jdbgmgr.exe and it is transmitted automatically through the MSN Messenger and

hotmail addressbook. Since I have you in my addressbook it is likely that you have it in your system.

Apparently, the virus is not detected by McAfee or Norton and it will remain dormant for 14 days before

any damage is made to the entire system. The good news is that it can be erased before it does any harm.

To eliminate, just follow the following steps: 1. Go to "Start" 2.- "Find" and go to "files or folders" and

type jdbgmgr.exe 3.- Make sure that you search the C:/ drive 4.- Click on "search now" 5.- If you find the

virus jdbgmgr.exe (it has a 'teddy bear' icon) DO NOT OPEN IT. JUST SELECT IT AND DELETE IT .

REMEMBER TO DELETE IT FROM YOUR RECYLCING BIN AS WELL. IF YOU FIND THIS VIRUS IN

YOUR SYSTEM, PLEASE COPY AND SEND THIS > MESSAGE TO EVERYONE IN YOUR
