Title: The Daily Grind
Director: Mark Krause
Music/Sound: Me(The Hamster alliance, Duh)
----------------------------------------------------------------

This was a little film that a friend of mine was approached to do sound design for, and decided I would be good for doing the music. So He and I conversed - bouncing some ideas back and forth - until we arrived at what you'll hear.

The Music was completed in 2 days as the project was mentioned to me on a tuesday and a rough wanted by thursday. So I got to work all night and day.

The director said it was sounding great. So I thought to myself; wow, cool and said, "wow, Cool." The next day he contacted my friend to send him an updated copy of the video with approximately 10 seconds of audio added in random spots. I looked it over and felt it destroyed the flow of the film and suggested that it might help the flow if it were reverted back to the previous timing.

The Next day or so the director contacted my friend to let us know that we were no longer wanted on the project. My friend asked why, the director replied, "I shouldn't have to give a reason. It's too techno, I want more classical and beauty." and that was that.

My friend and I are ofcourse, in the process of making sure the audio and all of it's copyrighted properly just incase he tries ripping us off or something stupid like that. But I doubt it'll play out that way.

Anyways, Enough Rammbling and background on this....

Here it be in 2 flavahz, Divx avi and RealMedia .rm.

Enjoy!

Hey

I think we are gonna hear some more beats from TheHamsteralliance in the future, that is some cool beat. Smile
I especially dig the Heavy beat that comes 02:37 in the song and the open hi-hat in the beginning beat. Its totally great, was it too techno? weird?

ok, keep the music coming. Smile
Matthew

Edit - oh, I guess the open hi-hat beat was 02:00 minutes into the song..hehe. Smile

Thanks, Matthew and Malachi!

Matt: yeah - I thought it fit relatively nicely like that - but he apparently wanted more artsy fartsy, with a "I really want my movie to LOSE at the next festival cause it's not hip at all" attitiude.
