Hey Cos - I always check out your posts. Great stuff. Like the way you give a cetain "grunge" to surfaces. Those black and white high contrast paintings you did in the fantasy portrait threat a while ago are my favorite!

The ammount focus on the action in this picture is unbelievable, especially considering how easy it would be to have gotten the focal point lost in the muddy colors. Great job Cos _________________

Something about the hair is bugging me, like its defying gravity. I would think the hair would drape straight down as the woman doesnt appear to be moving fast enough for the hair to be back the way it is.
Thats my only crit really, everything else is good. |

Only crit I have is that her hair looks a bit too stiff, like broom bristles or something.... Other than that it's a fantastic piece.
Love all the texture, great usage of color too...
Nicely done.

Hey thanks all for the kind words.
I agree on the hair, originally I intended to keep it more wild, hard, rough to give more sense of hecticness when she's stepping in to grab the guy (rather than soft and flowy). Tho as I had many comments on it not looking quite right, I guess it hasn't worked out as I wanted. Again thanks for the input |

This one's great, probly my fave one from you. It kind of reminds me of the Preacher covers by Glenn Fabry - I could easily see this on some Vertigo title. Keep em coming! |

Hey Cos I love the textured qualities in the image. I think the window slats and the incoming light add a lot to the composition aswell. Great! _________________ www.jasonink.net/journal |
