Damn - I was thinking there might some tunage involved here. I suggest you get busy and orchestrate some tunage to your homage to your foodage.

Yes - but not just any orange juice. There is nothing in this world that can compare to freshly squeezed orange juice. It is truly the nectar of the gods.

Orange Juice and Milk Rocks, Hardcore.
Apple Juice and Milk Rocks, Hardcore.

seriously ... try mixing these two .. but it depends on what brand of orange juice and what brand of milk ......
cos sometimes the orange juice is too acidic for the milk and it starts forming into these while globules of undrinkable goo ..... altho it still tastes good... its still goo ...

Gort: thats how you make frappe ? .. its so simple ... i should try this =] ..
and somehow the idea of using the blender to mix my drinks never came to mind ... maybe ill blend coke and milk and vanilla ice-cream and see what it tastes like.

so i just tried adding milk to vanilla coke.
it works!
mix it like one part coke, two parts milk(or a bit less).
really not bad.

..can't yet say how my stomach will react on that though.

Actually in the Northeastern part of the US it might be called a frappe, but it's really just a milkshake. On the blender there is typically a setting called "frappe"; this is good for whipping the stuff about. The recipe I provided can be varied in many ways. Try using orange zest (sparingly) instead of orange juice but add some chocolate syrup - you have a chocolate milkshake with a hint of orange - very delicious!

My wife makes smoothies with crushed ice, fresh bananas, strawberries and a little bit of vanilla yogurt. I ususally do the same but exclude the ice and use vanilla ice cream instead of yogurt. A little milk helps loosen it up.

It's a very refreshing, flava sensation on a hot, humid Georgia day. Throw in some grilled frankfurters, potatoes - woowee - and let the fun begin.

Yeah, me too - I'll admit that I have a weakness for the ol' classic Coke. Aint nothin' like the real thing.
