i know its a bit loose, tried to keep the detail but cut down on time, give it an illustraty feel (that a word?), no refs used which is why some things look a little screwy, finished it a few weeks ago, kind of sat on my hd since, not really sure if i want to take it any further but thought i'd post it as i don't post much of my finished stuff

really nice indeed -- there is just a light source that I dont understand, perhaps you can explain what is behind the horizontal tree.
Above the tree there is a line (horizontal) of light just above the log. It makes it seem as if there is some else glowing behind the log.
With no ref this is an amazing ilustration _________________ Chaplin |

thanks man, that was where i amended the lighting thought i had it on another layer so i added the light beams and the resulting light on the log, with a huge airbrush, thinking i'd erase the top half, only i had done it on the base layer, plus, to compound things hehe, i'd saved, closed, re-opened it before noticing it, just kind of hoped it'd go away rather than work on it again |
