hey
I used to bump all the zero replied threads but I cant really keep up with that since there are so many threads to bump. Not sure why anyone else is giving a bump to those threads.
Anyway, there is something with your watercolors that really is getting my attention and I really like your watercolors. I hope t-dome works out well.
see you and keep it up scott

Really good.
I like the colors ... just the red face looks a little weird.
Especially because the hands are gray.
Guess I shouldn't say anything about poses but it looks a bit stiff to me.
A fancy perspective for the sword things could have spiced it up ... maybe.
And the white things in his face could either be a mustache or teeth.
Now I'm pretty sure that they are teeth ... but the first impression was mustache.
Watercolors? Funny it looked digital to me somehow _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

Chances are that's a mask, isnt it?
So much for the red color and the "mustache"
Composition might need some work but I really dig your choice of colors.
Good job on the details, too. |

Thanks for the prop guys.
Matthew- thanks for the bump and the complement.
AndyT - I agree the pose is stiff. I have a problem when it comes to composition and giving my paintings action. Hopefully I can fix that one day. Thanks for the critique. Oh, and this is not my best watercolor, but I wish I was this good with painter 8. Man painting digitally is hard.
dasAod - Yeah its a mask. I think the size of the painting is to small and I lost a lot of detail in the texture of the paper. Thanks.

It's cool. However I don't think the cast shadow should be that definded, the rest seem sort of lit by a soft light, like an overcast day.
Maybe it's too late to change...good stuff anyways. _________________ http://www.somniostudios.com |

Thanks Henrik. I guess I could get a damp brush after it but I guess I'm kind of afraid to ruin it. But you're right.
