i like the gousman-version better. Is that a MV Agusta - Speedtriple something? Looks cool. Give him a Streetfighterhelmet. Maybe looks more aggressive.
maybe add a hint of a street or so.

Both images have a light direction issue. Where are the light above coming from? and if there are lights above the roads are not lit in anyway...I think that maybe the lighter/darker halfs should be worked as a background since it looks night on the ground et good be day on the top...also the headlight from the car (assuming) the light seems too thin so distance is not known to the viewer. i think you should rely more on motion blur on the background rather then your focus piece...check out some examples...but thats my 2 cents
