some folk may remember my concept sketch for this painting in the speed painting thread a whiles back. well heres the final(ish) oil painting. It is 30 inches by 40 inches. Feedback much appreciated

oh man, thats nice to look at. I really dig the color variance you have achieved combined with the impasto feeling.
You also handled the light from the sun and haze effect very convincingly.
It reminds me of a waxy crayon melted world.
My only crit would be the right side of the road's shoulder. It looks a bit wonky perspective wise... But its hardly noticable.
How long did this take you? |
