some may have noticed that the "daily drawing routine"- thread openend by matthew got lost in the world of bits and bytes. and before somebody really starts to forget that we all wanted to draw more, i decided to do a new one...

so, grab your pencils or whatever makes you think more about structure and draw, draw, draw ( and don't forget to post, post, post, we all need inspiration... Smile )

yey, so i have the honor to start a new thread which possibly (or hopefully) stays on page 1, so here are my two cents...

Hey guys, sorry been painting all day and just got home so I couldn't make the thread, I really appreciate you starting the thread StylesDavis and also many thanks for that pm yesterday Stylesdavis. Smile

Not sure what happened with the old thread, I know I didn't delete it anyway cause I don't have any deleting rights and or mod rights to lock down threads and such, me just helping out with the functionality of the forum.
ok me gotta go take a shower then I would be damned if I can't make it to draw a bit too before bed-time aswell.
See you guys and keep up the good work and thanks again Styles.

one scribble from yesterday evening and one from the train travel today.

Cool, I was wondering what happend to the old one...
Well I posted these at the life drawing thread because the drawing thread wasn't up, but I don't think it will hurt anyone to see 'em again. Smile

Ok then.

such a fucking fuck! had written a reply, and after pressing "submit" button it got lost. not the first time that happened to me at sijun. next time, i copy&paste written stuff in a txt-file before posting...

so again:

seth1, thanks. had written a pm to matthew about the lost thread, but he was too busy or so to make a new one, so i did. hope you don't mind...

matthew, thanks&thanks Smile train-travels are good to draw people, right? have to go by train almost daily- much time to draw people that way. nice horse btw.

pringle, thanks. good looking train there...

portrait battle at artjam in cologne, organised by a member of www.digitaldecoy.de

Sketching is my favorite medium, I had to join in (crappy art or not Wink).

Was watching a movie and saw a great reference, can you guess the movie? I kinda crapped out on the hair and beard...

I have been contacting the owners and the guy moderating sijun forum but they are not replying me so I will not look into this disappeared thread anymore, think I like this daily drawing routine part 2 thread more so it works good for me. Smile

StylesDavis, yea it is really good practise but in some weird way I only find myself drawing myself when I do, like in the sketch above, pretty weird that.
Thank you for your comment about the horse, pretty difficult anatomy in the horses too, especially the position of the legs and the body on them eventhough they have the Humerus and phalangs in them aswell. Me have to work harder. Smile

Comic project on the menu in school, made some quick scribbles and here is one of them. keep up everyone.

more scribbling on that comic project, kind of out of ideas though cause the topic isn't really what I wanted but I guess you cannot choose everytime.
I kinda made it a twist anyway, oh well.

keep up guys
