The speedpaint didn't turn out very nice but I liked the perspective so I continued working on it a day later. No reference used except for rifle. C&C is of course much appreciated.

It's kind of a reflection on my life as a soldier right now, and what National Service really entails. Can you handle it all when the shit hits the fan? At the end of the day, you're really just being trained to kill.

looks good so far, good concept. Reference would have taken it even further into realism....
Watch the proportions of the foreground figure, his hand is tweaked incorrectly, and his arm away from us is way too small. Good luck on this one

what i wanted to say Hell Taxi (superb name btw) already said it for me.

So i'll just say NS sucked balls ...
there were moments when i enjoyed it, and if it really comes down to it, i wont fight for this country... i did what i had to do, and when its all over ... i 'keng-ed' ... downgraded dude, no longer a combatant.

did you get marksman yet ? =] all those years playing Quake paid off for me. But hell ... NS was almost a year ago for me.

haha I'm an AFV driver right now. It's a combat voc but still a good life I suppose, in any case definitely better than the rifleman's. Watching guardsmen chiong-sua just made me sad, how can anyone be made to live 2 years of their lives away that way - involuntarily.

helltaxi: Thank you for the comments, and I agree with the points, especially with proportions, but I don't quite feel like working more on it for now (thus it's not in WIP), however if I do I'll be sure to take those notes into consideration and post an update here
