Yep, I went ahead and made a pre-order. I don't think it will run out, but if it does I don't want to wait another 2 months like those Jap's over the there.

I never really owned a gaming device. I played a Gameboy SP a couple of times and that was it. But this machine looks incredible not to get. 25% small than the original DS lite. White "I-Pod" look. Sleeker design. VERY bright screen (I played a demo game in Target). Very nice colors. Battery life as high as 16 hours. 4 hour recharge time. Opera is releasing a web browser this month in Japan. It will be a cartridge and allow you to surf on wi-fi spots. VOIP with Metroid Prime Hunter.






Here is the look for the Opera browser. You can either type by clicking the touch screen or write the letters in with the stylus.



As you can see, the top screen is the ZOOMED in part of the bottom screen. See that little grey box on the lower screen? That is the zoom in tool for the top screen. The webpage is going to be zoomed out at the bottom and zoomed in on top.

Don't mean to double post, but I am personally looking to getting my hands on the new Mario Brothers and Animal Crossing Wild World games. Look very fun.

Just got a ds lite and a copy of brain age.

I have to say once you use this one you can never touch an old ds again. nice design, better controls. lasts anywhere from 7-15 hours depending on how bright you have the screen
