@ everyone: Hey no problemo! just wanna spread the knowledge as best I can.

Ranath: sorry man, unfortunately I didn't take photos of Iains demo, mainly because I thought that it was sort of rude to the instructors to keep snapping photos. But, like craig's demo, the most important thing was not the images, it was the underlying message... to have fun, to love what your doing, to relax, guide yourself with your own passions, have a process that allows a period for creativity without judgement... those sort of things.

Everything I described in the notes for Mullins demo can be seen in Shelly Wan's photos. I've put them on my site so people don't have to follow links etc. they are posted at the bottom.

I wanted to add another Mullins tip that I forgot. I've demonstrated it via screen cap from photoshop, using two mullins paintings. This is of course a process by which you can mix photos or paintings to an abstract level to begin painting on top of...viewable here:

I'd like to add my thanks too Octavian, very interesting notes.


PS to split the arrows for layer blending you hold alt on the PC not sure if this is the same for macs.
