Saw the movie the spy who loved me tonight. There was a short documentary in it about Ken Adam.
The designer who brought us most of the cool original designs like "Blofeld's volcano headquarters" in You Only Live Twice and the underwater station in the spy who love me etc etc....

He was an airforce pilot for Great Britain in ww2 even though he was born in germany but fled because of his family being jews. Had he been captured in germany while flying he would have been sentenced for treason.
But anyway it's very inspiring to see his original sketches and hear him talk about films "back in the days" when cgi shots werent an option.

He has had an exhibiton which toured the world where his sketches and photos from the bond films were shown. Anyone seen that? Just a tip is to watch the documentary in the dvd film the spy who loved me....good stuff
