hello all;
I have posted here a few times; I'm not a designer and I do visual stuff more as a hobby than a full-time job. In fact I work as a programmer and nowadays commit pretty much all of my time to that.
That said, I have written a screenplay and made a storyboard for it. It took me a lot of time and effort and I don't want it to go to waste... However, I don't think I'll be able to animate this short myself without help. So if anyone is interested in producing animation for this short (originally I thought of making it in 3D but 2D is also fine), please feel free to post here your sketches or ideas... Or PM me if you want a more involved collaboration. One nice lady would maybe sponsor it, and I can maybe have a small distribution network local to Chicago.
I would really like for someone more artistic than I to pick up this project; it'd be a shame to see it go to waste. The speedpainting IV thread was a great source of inspiration for me awhile ago and that is the reason I'm posting here. If something like a speadpainting thread happens around my narrative, it'd be great

Wow... (still reading)...
I'm not an animator (yet; hehe)
but I think this is an amazing accomplishment in itself.
Whether or not anyone is available or willing,
might be good to have a plan B? Graphic novel?
Would be a shame to waste it, agreed. |

Second thought: another option would be to train up to it (do it yourself). Looks like you've got the raw talent (and adequate determination/follow-through). Obviously that involves a decision re which is more important to you (as a spare time activity), the programming or this.
My two cents. |

@durgldeep thanks for the encouragement, dude. Another option seems to be to seek funding and pay someone to do it. I think I'm better at narration than visual design anyway. And yes, there's always the issue of not having enough time. I guess I'll just be posting here whenever any progress is made. ;-) _________________ travel organizer and social network
