Welcome to Sijun! Smile

If I were painting this: in the second doorway (the one with bushes) I'd decrease contrast and brighten a bit (or a lot); the doorway/screen has lots of light but very little is hitting the floor... drop contrast/brighten would push the contrast closer to the viewer (where it belongs), ie. the closest screen and the figure.

My (amateur) thoughts. Smile

back again with the painting.. I have decided that I will repaint the entire image. right now I am trying to get the lighting right. I am scared of getting black blotchy spots due to excessive shadows.

here's just a first step Smile

Hey rockstar30 - yeah, that one's more 'atmospheric', I think it's an improvement already... Smile
Here's a couple references with similar lighting (might be useful?):

(amazing how much bounce is hitting the far wall, in the second one...)
