Just in case you haven't heard:
Asus anounced a pad-pc with Wacom Digitizer and Win7.

http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/04/asus-eee-slate-ep121-officially-unveiled-ips-display-core-i5-a/

THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME! OMG I prayed so long for a Slate PC with Wacom Stylus. No More heavy and expensive ModBook or TabletNotebooks!

What do you think about it? Shocked

Heh heh, guess that's the answer to what the next Wacom tablet will be - it won't
be (at least for me). Smile

I mean, glad Wacom's "consumable item" strategy (nibs, surfaces) will soon be
history - is history (tho the petition is still chugging). Smile

It does look like a nice little sketch machine. I love my Toshiba convertible tablet, but at 4.5 pounds it's not as portable as I'd like it to be.

The Slate will be about 1,2 Kg.

And I read about a Battery Lifetime of over 5h, not 3h as Asus says...

regarding slate i saw Advertising videos.. nice

http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/20/microsoft-and-asus-show-off-all-the-stylish-stylus-action-you-ca/

i still wait for fusion. All I need is IPS and wacom digitizer. 999$ for i5 is a bit steep for 3hours batterylife

My arrived 3 days ago and its pretty nice.
Good Performance, very nice pressure sensivity and multitouch.
Photoshop and artrage works well too.
Really the only thing that bugs me is the battery life of about 3-4h.

But for that, the ac-adapter is very small and it loads pretty fast,
so it's okay for me.
