Hey guys, long time no posting.
I just thought i should share my project over here, as i suppose several people here could be interested.
So, as the topic says, i'm building my own "cintiq" device, using a wacom intuos 3 A4 and an old laptop that i've deconstructed. the screen is sepaated from the computer, and then fitted over the active area on the wacom board. I've put all this in a frame with 3mm glass over.

i'm actually very happy with how it works, except for some jitter.
The computer only had Gimp installed, so i'm gonna try this out with Open Canvas or Photoshop.
i'm gonna post some better pics later on, and a better explanation!
i hope someone thinks this is a fun project and might try it for themselves! (beware of the electricity ) |
